Logan Meets The Pagemaster Epilogue
*Meanwhile, in a darkened room with very little light, a long silence filled the room. In the midst, the Council, an alliance of many vast and colorful villains, stood in their seats and neither one of them said a word knowing what had just occurred. For at the very middle of the council, Mirage stood before the gaze of the unseen leader of the team, who looks down at her with his fiery red eyes. Though he's barely seen in the darkness, those eyes alone proved greatly that he was not happy with what happened. The very gaze alone was enough to make even "The Queen of Evil" show a bit of fear*
???: … Logan escaped?
Mirage: … Yes.
???: And the Crew… They still live?
Mirage: … Yes.
???: This council was selectively chosen to represent the greatest in villainy, an alliance where all villains are equal dark-heartedly as well as black prowess. If so much as "one" of us proves weak before the council, it makes us "all" look weak. Unless of course, you have
Logan Meets The Pagemaster Chapter 7
Logan: Well guys, this is it. The moment of truth... Let's finish this.
*Nodding in agreement, the group slowly approached the massive doors not sure what lies behind or if they face a danger greater than anything they have faced during this whole journey. At first, they didn't know how to get in as they were hardly any door knobs or handles, at least from where they stood compared to the doors. Just as they reached out, amazing the doors opened by themselves as they marveled at what was inside. A massive room seemingly with nothing but a swirl of blue energy like a tornado*
Richard: *sees someone ahead* Who's there?
*And there, approaching from the shadows, there waiting for the heroes to have made it this far, there stood the man responsible for everything that they've been through these seemingly past few days: The Pagemaster himself. The moment the books saw him, they bowed down knowing that the legend indeed stands before him*
Adventure: The Pagemaster.
Logan Meets The Pagemaster Chapter 6
*It had been a successful battle against Long John Silver and his band of pirates, it was to be a time for everyone to feel happy for their victory… And yet, at that moment, it felt more like they "lost". They just sit by the beach watching the waves slide against the sand back-and-forth, a long silence between them except for the occasional sighs. All of them felt sad, but none more than Richard. A boy who felt on the verge of giving up, practically writing the word "Exit" on the sands. It stands there for a moment before a wave washes off the word and the Pagemaster's voice could be heard in his head*
The Pagemaster's Voice: Seize the courage, Richard. Then you will reach the exit.
Richard: *sighs* I'll never get home.
Fantasy: *assuredly* You did good, honey.
Richard: I lost the library card. I can't check anybody out. *plops his head against his legs* We'll never get to the exit now.
Fantasy: Honey, never say "never" around Fantasy, because sometimes you've got t
Logan Meets The Pagemaster Chapter 5
*As soon as they reached The Hispaniola, one of the Pirates tossed Richard aboard the ship landing right next to Logan and Bonnie, who were tossed onto the ship moments earlier. As they helped each other up, they stood right before the entire crew of the ship, who eyed them with evil intentions, all of them ugly and had violent intentions as they stuck their knives out toward them. Richard backs away into the clutches of another pirate, who holds a cutlass to the young boy‘s neck*
Pirate #3: Give the word, Cap'n Silver, sir, and I'll show the color of his insides.
Richard: Red! Red! They're red!
*Suddenly, the lead captain himself, Long John Silver stops them. As he turns toward them, they got a good look at the legendary captain himself. He wore a black Captain's hat atop a yellowish-green bandana, wore only a red coat and yellow pants wrapped in a belt. In one hand, he clutched a crutch for he only had one leg and the other was missing. A parrot stood clutched on h

*As the team settled down after that experience in the house, Adventure turns around and a look of excitement fills his gaze as he sees what lies ahead of him. To know for sure, Adventure takes out his peg-leg, which in turn changes into a scope and peers around before taking a deep breath of air. He soon calls out for the others, causing them to turn*
Adventure: Do ya smell it? Breathe it in, mateys. *looks through the scope and gasps*
Logan: *sniffs* I smell salt water… The ocean?
Popeye: But if it's the oceans, that means… *turns* Well, blow me down!
*The crew turns and there before their very eyes, they could see the open sea, as far as the eye could see. But through Adventure's scope, he could see what lay ahead over the horizons. For there, glowing in a green light, once properly adjusted, there was the "Exit" sign just up ahead*
Adventure: Ha ha! The land of adventure!
Rich: Look, there's the exit!
Logan: Which means we're on the right track to getting
