Digimon: Heroes Episode 29

*London, England. Late afternoon. Robert and Eva were riding through the streets in a taxi cab, exploring the sites. Renamon sat on top of the cab*

Eva: Wow! London is such a beautiful place.

Robert: Yeah, much better than on post cards.

Gatomon: It's a shame we don't really have time for sight seeing.

Robert: Hmm, lemme check. *pulls out his digivice and activates the radar* I'm not getting any Digimon readings around here.

Gatomon: They must be in hiding.

Cab Driver: Excuse me, is there someone else back there?

Eva: *shoves Gatomon down* No, just us two.

Cab Driver: Oh, alright.

Robert: Could you stop here, please?

*The taxi cab then slows to a stop. Renamon jumps off and Robert, Eva, and Gatomon hop out, paying the driver*

Eva: Sorry about the American money.

Cab Driver: Eh, I've gotten worse. *nods and drives off*

Robert: So…what first?

Eva: I'm not sure.

Robert: Let's explore the streets, just in case.

Gatomon: I'm game.

Renamon: *nods* I as well.

Robert: Okay then, let's go.

*Later that night, the two Heroes and their Digimon walk down the dark streets. The only light was from the several lamps lined up on the sidewalk*

Robert: Whoo, kinda spooky.

*Just then, Big Ben; the clock tower, chimed eight times. Everyone jumped in surprise, not expecting that*

Robert: Relax, it's just Big Ben, telling us it's eight o'clock.

Renamon: Must it do so, so loudly?

Gatomon: *looks around in the fog* Man, it sure is getting foggy.

Eva: Yeah, very…

Gatomon: I could cut this stuff with my claws.

Renamon: Is this natural for the Human World?

Robert: Only in England.

*Just then, a gang of striped haired punks came out from an alley way, holding chains and baseball bats*

Robert: *whispering* Someone's coming, hide!

*Gatomon and Renamon nod and leap into the shadows, so as not to be seen*

Punk 1: Well, well, what are a couple of kids like you doin' on a night like this?

Robert: *to himself* Oh great, even London has punks.

Eva: I could ask you the same thing!

Punk 1: Oh look boys, we got us a couple of yanks here.

Punk 2: What brings you two ta London, now?

Robert: None of your damn business, snot streak!

Punk 3: Oy, dem's fightin' words, here!

Punk 1: Looks like we have to teach you lot a lesson in manners! *prepares his bat*

Robert: *lowers his brows* Bring it…

Punk 3: With pleasure! *rattles his chain*

*Suddenly, a feather shoots from the sky and nicks the punk's baseball bat*

Punk 1: Huh? *eyes widen* Oh no…

*Suddenly, Swanmon flies down, lands in front of Robert and Eva, and spreads her wings. Robert and Eva look shocked at this*

Swanmon: Step away from the loving couple, hooligans!

Punk 3: *eyes widen* Oh bloody hell, it's her!!

Swanmon: You bet it is! *readies her wings*

Punk 1: Not this time! GET HER, MATES!!!!

Swanmon: *starts spinning her wings* Down Tornado!! *shoots out a large burst of feathers at the punks*

Punks: AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!

*The punks get tossed up in the air and land with a hard thud*

Punk 1: *in pain* Ugh! Blimey!

*Swanmon then grabs the punks with her talons and flies off into the sky. Robert and Eva stare in awe at what just happened, just as Renamon and Gatomon jumped out from the shadows and stood next to them*

Robert: Did you see that?

Renamon: That I did.

Robert: Come on, we gotta follow her!

*Robert, Eva, and their Digimon take off after Swanmon*

*Later, Swanmon drops the punks at the feet of a British Policeman who was walking through the streets. She then lands in front of him*

Swanmon: Sorry for this interruption, constable, but I found these hooligans attacking a young couple just about a few blocks away.

Constable: *scratches his head* Well I'll be. Swanmon, you've done it again!

Swanmon: Just trying to keep the peace, sir.

Constable: Well, I'll take these blokes into custody. Keep up the good work.

Swanmon: *salutes* Can do!

*The constable lifts the punks onto their feet and walks them away*

Robert: Hey, you!!

Swanmon: *turns to see Robert, Eva, and their Digimon running in* Huh?

Robert: *stops and pants* Man, you're fast!

Swanmon: Oh, you're the couple from earlier. Are you alright?

Robert: Yeah, we're fine. And you are a Digimon!

Swanmon: Yes. I am Swanmon.

Robert: Hold still, please. *takes out his digivice and scans Swanmon* Swanmon. A Champion level, Vaccine type, Bird Digimon. Attacks are Down Tornado and White Marie.

Renamon: I know you. You're with the resistance.

Swanmon: *smiles* Ah, you are correct, Renamon.

Robert: Finally, a good Digimon. So, what brings you to London, Swanmon?

Swanmon: Well I heard of Superimon bringing his troops the Human World. I simply could not allow that to happen, so I followed one squad here to London.

Eva: Are there any other members of the resistance here in our world?

Swanmon: I recalling hearing that others have come, but I'm the only Digimon of the resistance here in London.

Renamon: And it looks like the people here know of you.

Swanmon: I noticed hooligans like those boys from earlier disturbing the humans here. I couldn't let that go unnoticed.

Robert: So, you're the local hero.

Swanmon: Yes, sir! No evildoer shall escape my might! *drapes her wings in a dramatic fashion*

Gatomon: Speaking of which, have you seen any evil looking Digimon around here?

Swanmon: As of yet, I haven't. But I'm keeping an eye out.

Robert: Good to hear. *yawns* Man, I'm starting to feel that jet lag again. Know a good hotel we can stay at?

Swanmon: All the hotels are booked I'm afraid. People have been afraid to leave here since the threat of the evil Digimon.

Eva: So, where can we stay?

Swanmon: Well you can stay with me!

Robert: With you? Where do you live?

Swanmon: Well there's an abandoned church near here. I've taken up residence there.

Robert: You guys okay with that?

Gatomon: It's the only option we have for now.

Eva: *smiles* I'm okay with it.

Renamon: As am I.

Robert: Okay. Take us there, Swanmon.

Swanmon: Follow me! *waddles forward*

*The Heroes and their Digimon follow Swanmon as she leads them uptown*

Robert: So, an abandoned church?

Swanmon: I find some comfort there.

Eva: Really?

Swanmon: I have yet to have any trouble from any of the evil Digimon coming there. They don't like it there.

Robert: So there HAVE been evil Digimon in London.

Swanmon: Unfortunately. Still, I haven't seen too many of them.

Renamon: Why do you suppose that is?

Swanmon: I'm not sure. They could be planning something.

Gatomon: This can't be good.

Robert: Don't worry, we're here.

Swanmon: Yes, the Digimon Heroes. *smiles* It sure is an honor.

*Just then, Big Ben chimes 8:30 p.m. Everyone except Swanmon jumps again, not expecting it*

Gatomon: Man, I cannot get used to that!

Swanmon: I'm used to it.

Robert: Are we almost there?

Swanmon: Actually, we're here! *points*

*The two Heroes and their Digimon look to see a large black gothic looking old church in front of them. They stared in awe at how large it was. It looked almost frightening, even*

Robert: *eyes widen* Whoa!

Swanmon: It's not much but I call it home. Come on in!

*Swanmon reached out and opened the church's large doors. Then she, the two Heroes, and their Digimon walked inside as the doors closed behind them*

Robert: It's a wonder this place isn't falling apart.

Swanmon: You'd be amazed what the simple things can do.

Robert: Do you get visitors?

Swanmon: Aside from you, not really. I tend to keep to myself

Eva: Don't you get lonely?

Swanmon: Sometimes, but hey, I have some company now. *smiles, reassuringly*

Robert: *yawns* Man, I gotta get some sleep.

Swanmon: Oh! *waddles over and pulls out some sleeping blankets and pillows* I'm sure you'll need it with the time difference and all.

Robert: *takes the pillows and blankets* Thanks, you're very nice.

Swanmon: It's my pleasure. Think nothing of it. Now, you get some sleep.

*Soon, Robert and Eva lay down, curl up with each other, and fall asleep*

Swanmon: *smiles and flies up to her nest she made and gets comfy* Ah…

Gatomon: *hops up to Swanmon* Do you mind if I sleep here. I'm partial to sleeping on high places.

Swanmon: Sure! Make your self at home.

Gatomon: *cuddles next to Swanmon in her feathers* Ahh, so warm. *purrs a bit and falls asleep*

Renamon: *stays alert* You go to sleep. I'll keep watch.

Swanmon: Very well, Renamon. Goodnight. *lays down her neck and falls asleep*

*Meanwhile, a large black figure watched the Heroes fall asleep in the church from far off on another side of the city. It's eyes glowed red with evil*

*The next morning, Robert and Eva awaken to see Swanmon with a tea tray in her wings*

Swanmon: *smiles* Good morning, Heroes, would you like some tea?

Robert: Oh. *takes a cup of tea* Thank you.

Eva: *takes a cup of tea* I've never had tea. I always have coffee. *takes a sip* It's good though!

Swanmon: Never hurts to try something new I suppose. Ha ha!

Robert: So Swanmon, what was your position back in the resistance?

Swanmon: Well, I used to look after young Digimon that lost their homes and families.

Eva: Like an Orphanage?

Swanmon: Yes. It was quite a good time. Those babies were so sweet and innocent. I always worked hard to protect them, too. No evil Digimon would come between me and my babies.

Robert: Quite a change. A nurse in the Digital World and a local Superhero in our world.

Swanmon: Well, it was sort of a last minute change. So how's about I give you a tour of the city?

Robert: I'd like that. I've always wanted to see Crystal Palace Park. *turns to Eva* Eva?

Eva: I'd love to see it too!

Swanmon: So, it's settled!

Robert: Renamon!

Renamon: *teleports in* Yes?

Robert: *notices that Renamon looks tired* Have you been awake all night?

Renamon: *yawns and rubs her eyes* Yes. I was keeping an eye out, in case we were attacked.

Robert: Anyway, we're taking a tour of the city, wanna come?

Renamon: Actually, I may take a little nap first you guys go on ahead, I'll catch up.

Robert: Okay, sleep tight. *turns to Gatomon* Gatomon?

Gatomon: I'm game!

Robert: Good. Lead the way, Swanmon.

Swanmon: Follow me! *flies out a window*

*Later, Swanmon leads Robert, Eva, and Gatomon through the streets of London. People stop and recognize Swanmon as they pass*

Girl: Look! It's Swanmon! Hi!

Man: Good morning, Swanmon.

Swanmon: *waves to the people* Hello all!

Eva: Wow, kinda reminds me of home.

Robert: Wow, you are popular. Have you met the queen yet?

Swanmon: Twice. She's very sweet.

Eva: What was the occasion?

Swanmon: I saved her from a Digimon that was annoying her. Those Impmon are rude.

*The group soon pass Buckingham Palace, staring in awe at the large and famous structure*

Eva: Oh my god, Buckingham Palace!

Swanmon: Lovely, isn't it?

Eva: Very lovely!

*The guards standing in front of the gates couldn't help but salute to Swanmon as she passed by*

Swanmon: *salutes back* At ease, men.

Robert: So, all the Digimon that have been attacking were small?

Swanmon: Yes, mostly Rookie levels, like Dracmon and Impmon.

Gatomon: Sounds like you've been lucky.

Swanmon: I suppose, but the human riffraff can be a hassle.

Eva: Don't you get…homesick?

Swanmon: I do, but the change of scenery isn't so bad.

Robert: So, how much longer to the Palace Park?

Swanmon: Oh, not that much longer.

*Back at the church, Renamon snoozes away, completely forgetting about the catnap she was originally going to take. Just then, she woke up*

Renamon: *gets up and yawns* I think that did it.

*Suddenly, there was a small crashing noise that came from the corner*

Renamon: *ears perk* Huh? *sees some debris in the corner*

*Some scuttling could be heard in the corner. Renamon turned to see a bucket roll out as something suddenly leapt up and clamped on to her head*

Renamon: GAH!!! *pries the Digimon off and finds it to be a MameTyramon* What the?

MameTyramon: Eh! You're not Swanmon!!

Renamon: What do you want with Swanmon?

MameTyramon: What d'ya think? Dino Bomb!! *fires a red blast in Renamon's face, causing her to drop him*

Renamon: GAH!!! *wipes the soot from her face* Cheap trick! Come here! *lunges for MameTyramon*

MameTyramon: *dodges* Mame Bite 1000!! *chomps onto Renamon's tail*

Renamon: *eyes widen* YEOW!!!

*MameTyramon giggles as Renamon runs around with him firmly attached to her tail. Renamon then swats him against the wall hard, causing him to loose his grip and fall to the ground, shaken a little*

Renamon: Diamond Storm!! *fires shards at MameTyramon*

MameTyramon: GAH!!! *is blasted and dissolves into data*

Renamon: Serves you right! *holds her tail* Biting my tail! *eyes widen in realization* Wait! If he came here…*looks to the door* Then there must be more after Swanmon! *teleports away to find the others*

*Back with Swanmon and the others at Crystal Palace Park, Robert examined the large dinosaur statues*

Eva: Wow, these are really cool!

Gatomon: They kinda remind me of Digimon.

Robert: These statues were built back in the 1850's. But since then, our knowledge of dinosaurs has changed drastically. But, this park is still a great place to visit.

Swanmon: It's also a nice place to relax for me.

Robert: Which dinosaur will you relax on? Iguanodon or Megalosaurus?

Swanmon: I like the Iguanodon myself. *flies up to the Iguanodon's head*

Gatomon: *wads her feet in the lake* Ah…the water feels so nice.

*Just then, Renamon teleported in next to the others*

Gatomon: WAH!!! *falls over, surprised*

Robert: Hey Renamon, how was your nap?

Renamon: It was fine until I was ambushed.

Robert: Seriously?

Renamon: A MameTyramon tried to attack me, but he was actually going for Swanmon. *turns to Swanmon* Someone was trying to assassinate you.

Swanmon: What?

Renamon: I couldn't say for sure who.

Eva: Any ideas?

Swanmon: Hmm, well deary me. I wouldn't know, either. I've only seen small Digimon invade.

Robert: This has Superimon's name written all over it.

Swanmon: Hmm, that's the only one who makes sense.

Eva: We better stay on our toes then.

Gatomon: Hmm. *notices a large black dinosaur statue and jumps onto it's head*

Robert: Don't worry, we'll deal with this later. *looks at the statues* It's strange to think all dinosaurs were thought to be four legged.

Gatomon: Except this one. *points to the black statue underneath her* He's standing on two legs.

Robert: Huh?

*The Heroes look to see Gatomon sitting on a large Tyrannosaurus with black skin, a white belly, large claws on each hand, and large green spines running down it's back. It was a DarkTyrannomon

Robert: *eyes widen* Tyrannomon!!

Eva: Oh my god!!

Swanmon: Huh? *turns to see DarkTyrannomon* Oh no, it's DarkTyrannomon!

DarkTyrannomon: *turns to face the Heroes* RAAAUUUGGGHHH!!!

Gatomon: Uh oh! *jumps off DarkTyrannomon's head*

Robert: *takes out his digivice and scans DarkTyrannomon* DarkTyrannomon. An Unknown level, Virus type, Dinosaur Digimon. His attacks are Fire Blast and Iron Tail.

Gatomon: *looks at the other dinosaur statues around* How appropriate…

Renamon: Definitely Superimon's doing.

DarkTyrannomon: *stomps forward* GRRR!!!

Robert: Not so fast, Gorgo! Get him, Renamon!!

Renamon: *leaps up* Diamond Storm!! *fires a burst of shards that strike DarkTyrannomon on the snout*

*DarkTyrannomon doesn't seem to be totally bothered by it. He then swats Renamon aside with his massive paws*

Eva: Damn, he's tough!

Gatomon: We better digivolve!

Robert: Gotchya! *is about to pull out his digivice* Digi-

Renamon: *digivolves* Renamon digivolve to…Kyubimon!!

Robert: *looks surprised* What the- It happened again? How?

Kyubimon: *runs toward DarkTyrannomon* Dragon Wheel!!

DarkTyrannomon: RAAAHHH!!! *tries to block her attack with green fireball*

*The two attacks collide, causing an explosion that causes the two Digimon to stumble a little*

Kyubimon: *steadies herself* Well, you're a tough one.

Robert: Damn! This Tyrannomon's tougher than the one we fought in New York!

Gatomon: Eva, let me digivolve!

Eva: Right. We need all the help we can get.

Robert: We gotta get him before he gets into the city!

DarkTyrannomon: GRRR!!! *turns his attention towards the city as he starts to charge an attack*

Gatomon: Hyah!! *leaps up*

Eva: *pulls out her digivice* Digivolve!

Gatomon: *digivolves* Gatomon digivolve to…Angewomon! *flies up to DarkTyrannomon before he launches his attack*

Robert: Swanmon, take cover!

Swanmon: Right! *takes cover near some dinosaur statues as Angewomon prepares her attack*

Angewomon: Heaven's Charm!!

*The attack is super effective as DarkTyrannomon stumbles more and shoots his attack harmlessly into the air*

Robert: Kyubimon, Gimme a lift!!

Kyubimon: I'm coming!! *grabs Robert with her mouth and puts him on her back as they head for DarkTyrannomon*

Robert: Dragon Wheel didn't work. Any ideas?

Kyubimon: Just one. Hang on!

DarkTyrannomon: GRRR!!! *charges up another Blaze Blast*

Robert: So, what's the plan?

Kyubimon: I'm thinking!

DarkTyrannomon: *opens his mouth to prepare the attack* RAAAUUUGGGHHH!!!

Robert: Ah, screw it!! *jumps off Kyubimon onto DarkTyrannomon's head*

Kyubimon: *eyes widen in shock* Robert, no!!

Eva: What are you doing?!

Swanmon: *gasps as she waddles out from her hiding place* Oh dear!

Robert: *covers DarkTyrannomon's eyes* Got ya! WHOA!!!!

DarkTyrannomon: RAAAAWWWWRRRR!!!! *flings Robert around, trying to get him off*

Robert: *being flung around* GETTING DIZZY!!!!

Swanmon: *flies up* Hold on!

Robert: Swanmon, get back!! He'll kill you!!

Swanmon: *ignores Robert* Down Tornado!! *strikes her attack which causes DarkTyrannomon to flinch*

Robert: *is flung off* WHOA!!!

Swanmon: *flies and catches Robert by the shoulders* Got you!

Robert: Phew, thanks! Sure I'm not too heavy for you?

Swanmon: Oh, don't worry, I've carried heavier. *lands Robert next to Eva*

DarkTyrannomon: RAAAHHH!!! *runs off towards the city*

Angewomon: He's getting away!

Eva: What should we do now?

Robert: We gotta reach him before he hurts anyone.

Swanmon: I can fly faster. I'll try to distract him.

Robert: Are you sure?

Swanmon: Sure, I'm sure. *nods determinedly as she takes off into the air*

Robert: I hope she'll be okay.

Kyubimon: She will be, don't worry.

Angewomon: We better get going too. *picks Eva up*

Robert: *mounts Kyubimon* Let's go!!

*Meanwhile, DarkTyrannomon was terrorizing the people of London, destroying everything in his path*

Man: Help!! Someone call Scotland Yard!!

DarkTyrannomon: RAAAWWWRRR!!! *smashes several buildings with his tail and claws*

Swanmon: *flies in from the sky* Down Tornado!! *a windy burst strikes DarkTyrannomon on the head*

DarkTyrannomon: *gets hit* RAWR!!!!

Swanmon: Not in my town, Big Boy! *flies in front of him*

Girl: Look, it's Swanmon!

*The people cheer as Swanmon stares down the large evil Digimon*

Swanmon: As the protector of this city, I order you to leave now!

DarkTyrannomon: Grrr…*swats Swanmon onto the street*

*The crowd gasps in horror at what just happened*

DarkTyrannomon: RAWR!!! *is about to step on Swanmon*

???: Fox Tail Inferno!!!

*DarkTyrannomon is blasted aside before he can crush Swanmon. The crowd turns to see Robert atop Kyubimon, whose tails tips are smoking. Angewomon and Eva then rush in to get Swanmon*

Man: Oy! Who are those blokes?

Eva: We're the Digimon Heroes!

Angewomon: We're here to help!

Robert: Okay team, lets help out Swanmon and exterminate this dinosaur!!

Eva: Yeah!!

DarkTyrannomon: RAAAAWWWWRRRR!!!! *runs toward the Heroes*

Robert: Okay Kyubimon, strategy A!

Kyubimon: Right! *leaps up and using her flaming tails, strikes DarkTyrannomon on the snout, hard*

Robert: Nice job! Now go for the stomach!

*Kyubimon then bounces off DarkTyrannomon, then off a building, and rolls herself into a ball, attempting to tackle him on the stomach. DarkTyrannomon gets hit hard and slides backwards. Kyubimon then lands gracefully on the ground as she turns to Angewomon and Swanmon*

Kyubimon: You want to finish it off?

Robert: I think the honor belongs to Swanmon.

Swanmon: Really?

Robert: *nods* This is YOUR city to protect.

Swanmon: *nods back* You're right!! *takes off toward DarkTyrannomon*

DarkTyrannomon: *gets up and notices Swanmon* GRRR!!! *fires a green fireball at Swanmon*

Swanmon: *dodges the attack and aims for DarkTyrannomon's mouth* White Marie!! *glows a bright light as she cuts through the flames and enters DarkTyrannomon's mouth*

DarkTyrannomon: *looks like he's chocking as he stumbles a bit before he glows and explodes into data* RAAAAUUUUGGGGHHH!!!!

*The people cheer after seeing Swanmon's triumph*

Eva: But where is Swanmon..? *looks around*

*Suddenly, Swanmon was seen plummeting out of the sky. The people look up and gasp in fright*

Robert: *holds out his arms* I got her, I got her!! *catches Swanmon in his arms* Gotchya!!

Swanmon: *looks up weakly and smiles at Robert* Thanks.

Robert: You okay, Swanmon?

Swanmon: Nothing a little nap wouldn't cure. *sighs and falls asleep*

*A few minutes later, a royal coach rides up to the Heroes and their Digimon*

Renamon: What's going on?

Robert: I think I know who that is, guys…

*The coach door opens and out steps an elderly woman wearing a royal robe and a small crown on her head. She was Queen Elizabeth II. The Heroes look on at her in shock and surprise*

Eva: The Queen.

Robert: *shakes Swanmon* Swanmon, wake up!

Swanmon: Huh? *raises her head tiredly to see the Queen*

Queen Elizabeth II: Lady Swanmon.

Swanmon: *snaps back into a more professional pose and bows* My Queen. What brings you here?

Queen Elizabeth II: Rise, please, my dear. Why else would I be here? Once again, you've saved our fair city. And these must be the Digimon Heroes of America.

Eva: Uh. *clears her throat* Y-Yes, we are. *bows*

Queen Elizabeth II: Thank you for helping Swanmon. *looks to Gatomon and Renamon* And to you two as well. *pets Renamon* My, you're beautiful.

Renamon: *blushes a little* Th-Thank you.

Robert: It was an honor to save your kingdom, your majesty. It is our duty, as it is Swanmon's.

Queen Elizabeth II: I see. We owe both of you a lot of gratitude then. *smiles a little bit*

Gatomon: Does this mean we get to be knighted?

Eva: Gatomon, don't be rude.

Gatomon: Hmm, It never hurts to ask.

Queen Elizabeth II: *laughs a little at this*

*Later, at Buckingham Palace, everyone was sitting inside, awaiting to see what the Queen had in store for the Heroes. Robert, Renamon, Eva, Gatomon, And Swanmon knelt before her*

Queen Elizabeth II: *holds out a sword* With the power bested in me, I now knight thee Sir Robert Willis, Lady Eva Doherty, Lady Gatomon, and Lady Renamon. *taps each of their shoulders* And for Swanmon, our most highest honor.

Swanmon: *looks up a little very curious* Oh?

Queen Elizabeth II: *pulls out a gold medal* For saving our kingdom from the wicked DarkTyrannomon, we award the Queen's gold medal for Gallantry. *pins it to Swanmon's chest* And also, she is to be rewarded with our tallest, most splendid royal castle, so that she may live there for the rest of her life.

Swanmon: *gasps* Oh my!

Robert: *applauds* Speech!

Swanmon: Well, I'm only gonna say this. As long as I'm around, this city will be protected.

Renamon: *bows* The words of a true hero.

Robert: Well Swanmon, now you have your own castle to live in.

Swanmon: I know, it's amazing isn't it?

Queen Elizabeth II: Please Swanmon, will you stay?

Swanmon: Of course, this is my home. My friends. *gestures to Robert and the others* I don't think I could leave.

*Everyone in the palace goes into thunderous cheers, causing Swanmon to shed a happy tear*

Robert: So…what do you wanna do now? We have a few days before we leave for Paris.

Renamon: We do have some time to kill. I guess there's no hurry to leave here.
