Epilogue

*Meanwhile, in a darkened room with very little light, a long silence filled the room. In the midst, the Council, an alliance of many vast and colorful villains, stood in their seats and neither one of them said a word knowing what had just occurred. For at the very middle of the council, Mirage stood before the gaze of the unseen leader of the team, who looks down at her with his fiery red eyes. Though he's barely seen in the darkness, those eyes alone proved greatly that he was not happy with what happened. The very gaze alone was enough to make even "The Queen of Evil" show a bit of fear*

???: … Logan escaped?

Mirage: … Yes.

???: And the Crew… They still live?

Mirage: … Yes.

???: I was assured when you were brought here that you are one of the most POWERFUL of all the servants of evil in the infinite dimensions, and yet you FAIL me again, house cat! If you do not have some manner of good news to share with this council, I will cast you into the Pit of Hate MYSELF!!! *slams his fist down on the arm of his throne*

Mirage: As a matter of fact, my lord… I do have something to share before the council. *holds out a comic book in her hand*

???: A...comic book? Is this supposed to be some sort of joke?

Mirage: *shakes her head* It’s not the book that’s important, but what’s in the book… A new ally. *opens the comic book and places it on the floor*

*Suddenly, from out of the pages emerges a hunched figure draped in a red hooded cloak and clawed blue hands wrapped in rotting bandages*

Cloaked Figure: How can I be of service to the Council of Shadows?

Rothbart: *scoffs* What is this? How can this…TWIG be of any help to us?

Cloaked Figure: You mock my power?

Rothbart: Yes, as a matter of fact, I do. What are YOU going to do about it?

Cloaked Figure: I will show you… *spreads his arms out, revealing himself to be a mummy wrapped in rotting bandages* Ancient Spirits of Evil! Transform this decayed form…to Mumm-Ra, the Ever Living!!

*And then, exploding out of it's bandages, the creature known as Mumm-Ra emerged as a more muscular, fearsome creature and gives a mighty roar towards the council and displaying a form that appears to have been chiseled in stone. For a moment, all is silent as they turn to the display before them. Though not much of an emotion emerges from their leader, deep down he felt impressed*

???: Hmm... I do believe we can make quite use of your abilities, Mumm-Ra.

Mumm-Ra: I thought as much.

???: *to Mirage* It seems you have fully redeemed yourself, Mirage. With a new addition to our council, we may have the necessary firepower to challenge Logan and his crew. Though one thing still remains: To find them and where they are going.

Ratigan: *to the leader* If I may be as bold to speak up, my lord. I just happen to observe that Logan and his crew typically end up from one location to the next whenever there is trouble afoot in a certain place. If we can't find Logan, then we'll simply have him find "us". And I have just the plan guaranteed to work.

Saruman: And what may that be?

Ratigan: *snickers* A very ingenious plan, Saruman. And boy won't he be in for a surprise? *The darkness soon covers everything but his eyes, staring out toward the council*
