Oh poor, poor Hephaestus... it must suck to be known by many as "the ugly God" (or rather "the lame God"). I've always been confused by how Aphrodite ended up marrying Hephaestus... not that it matters given that Aphrodite likely never consummated the marriage and is often out there making love to beautiful mortal men. XD (And Ares)
You did fantastic work here in capturing Hephaestus' brutish physique. He looks very much the part of a blacksmith and the dark, oppressive colours really offer a contrast to some of your other designs. It seems to emphasize him as someone who'd be away in a dark, fire-lit room all day clanging away at his inventions. I really like the one-shoulder pad and the black apron works really well too.
